K-9 Operations

Based in Panama and Costa Rica, Phoenix's K-9 program is certified to USPCA standards and adheres to United States Customs Service K-9 standards. K-9 units can be deployed at Seaports and Airports in Central America and the Caribbean.

• Narcotics Detection, Explosives Detection, Patrol / Attack
• Full Kennel and Training Academy in Limon — supported Phoenix Panama
• Trainers, Handlers, and Canines certified to USPCA standards annually by Judge and Senior Instructor of US Police Canine Association
• Deployed at Seaports, Container Terminals, Airports, Onboard Ships
• Provide operational support to OIJ and Anti-Narcotics Police
• Inspections of: Tractors (Cabin, etc.), Empty containers (Gate/Patio), Exterior of FCL, CFS or stuffing operations
• Random or for cause checks of lockers, offices, equipment, storage, etc.
• Ship chandlers, crew baggage, visitors, stevedores
